Process for Commissioning a Sculpture

• Meet with client at site and bring along resource materials
• Define goals and parameters of the commission
• Research and collect related materials
• Design concept(s)
• Sculpt a scale model (Marquette) and Photoshop into site
• Provide quote with itemized costs and timelines
• With approval, sculpt full scale original in clay
• Client approval of clay original throughout the process via studio visits and emailed photos
• Produce rubber mold from original clay
• Review samples of casting and finishing materials
• Cast artwork at CherryLion Studios or affiliated foundry
• Deliver and install
• Provide maintenance packet.
