In these uncertain times, keeping our sculpture students safe is Cherrylion Studios’ top priority. We’re instituting the following protocol to foster a safe environment in our studio:
We’re elated to welcome our students back to the studio and hope these measures will allow you to sculpt your piece with peace of mind. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
At Cherrylion Studios, we know learning a new craft in a room full of people can be an intimidating process. However, our sculpture classes are open to all skill levels and provide an environment for everyone to embrace their creative side. Whether you aspire to sculpt the next Statue of David or simply want to partake in a fun weeknight activity, you are welcome in our Atlanta, GA studio.
It seems like our lives get busier with each passing week. But it’s important to set aside a little time to relax and work on something you’ve always wanted to pursue. We offer a variety of three-hour class times to fit into your schedule. Whether you want to sign up for a sculpture class on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday nights, or Thursday nights, there’s a session for you at Cherrylion Studios.
Don’t have time to commit to a 10-week sculpture class? We understand. Cherrylion also offers one-off weekend sculpture workshops for adults looking to immerse themselves in an artistic environment outside of a hectic work week. Learn more about our upcoming workshops in Atlanta, GA.
While our professional Atlanta sculpture studio provides the perfect environment for you to cultivate your creativity, a sculpture class is only as good as its teacher. Cherrylion Studios is delighted to welcome Susan Krause as our course instructor.
Susan received her MFA from Yale University and brings over three decades of experience in higher education to Cherrylion Studios. She’s even been recognized as Georgia’s Arts Educator of the Year!
Over the course of a 10-week session, Susan will demonstrate how to translate direct observation into your own interpretation of the form you’re working with. While live models are provided, you’re encouraged to create whatever your imagination might produce. Our sculpture classes are limited in size, so we can provide individualized instruction for all students here at Cherrylion Studios.
Our sculpture classes cost just $250. This small fee grants you access to our professional art studio, live models, personalized instruction, and 25 lbs. of clay. This cost also covers all firings in our kiln. For one low price, you will develop a skill for life!
Sculpture classes fill up more quickly than clay dries! Sign up today for our upcoming session to learn a new art form and enjoy a fun activity in Atlanta, GA.
